What possible purpose could this hearing have but to exploit these children? Why do they not have four distinguished climate scientists at the cutting edge of their field before them? c-span.org/video/?464405-…
Why aren't they asking these questions of Wallace Broecker, Syukuro Manabe, John Mitchell, Veerabhadran Ramanathan, Tom Wigley, Judith A. Curry, Dick Lindzen, Nir J. Shaviv, Michael Mann?
Is the point of this to highlight the way that our failure to communicate what the crisis is and what it isn't is making emotionally fragile young people despondent and destroying their youths?
If so, will this be followed by recommendations about how to discuss the climate with young people--especially those who already suffer from depression and anxiety--in a way the convinces them that the science does *not* say what they seem to think it does?
