1/ Did you know that many department stores offer free “personal shoppers” who pick out clothes they think you’ll like and give you a private fitting room? We’re at @Bloomingdales Century City in LA and I will now live tweet my outfits for your feedback
Casual and comfy but also professional
New synthetic fabric that never needs to be washed
This is stuff we would never buy on our own but it’s kinda fun to try new looks
Such a dad outfit. But time to start getting used to it
Burgundy is in for men now apparently
This is more my style. Comfy. $145 for a T-shirt though!
Star Trek uniform!
Everyday essentials
It seems like if I’m going to spend money on clothes, it should be flashier more noticeable things. Anything can be invisible
Could I get away with this?
Oof leather jacket is so not me. But maybe it could be
Bond villain jacket
No THIS is bond villain
Steve Jobs. This is like playing dress up
Literally a plain white t shirt for $60
I don’t think I can do skinny jeans anymore
1970s casino gambler?
Everyday European hammock pants
The 9 things I like cost $3,650. The one I liked the most, the tan jacket, was a cool $1k. That’s how they get you
Designer stuff has big discounts you don’t see on the price tag. They anchor you to the super high price but depending on how much you spend there are discounts of 10-30% in cash back you can spend a week later
Most of this I’m just going to buy elsewhere for much cheaper. But there’s a few set pieces that are justified by fabric & construction. And considering how long they’ll last are actually quite reasonable cost wise. And it was a fun experience
