BREAKING: JW announced it obtained a 2-page memo, dated 5/16/17, by Andrew McCabe detailing how then-Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein proposed wearing a wire into the Oval Office “to collect additional evidence on the president’s true intentions,” (1/3).

2/ I've written of how these rogue agents (a) used former Trump attorney—and current attorney for multiple Trump aides—Joe DiGenova to illegally leak to the media and threaten Comey via media, and (b) used Trump adviser Rudy Giuliani likewise to leak to media and threaten Comey.

The Articles of Impeachment against Rosenstein have been filed in a parliamentary "end run" around leadership and do not have the support of @SpeakerRyan or @TGowdySC.

No vote is expected anytime soon and it is highly unlikely the House would approve them anyways. 2/5
Since the Articles of Impeachment are almost certain to fail, it is likely they are being filed to give Trump a PRETEXT to fire Rosenstein.

Firing Rosenstein would let Trump replace him with a loyalist who could sharply curtail Mueller's investigation or even fire Mueller. 3/5
