Geoffrey Cox veers off on rant about Parliament blocking a GE and denying 17.4 million people what they voted for. Blimey, that was unexpected! Like a poodle suddenly turning into a rabid rhinoceros. "The time is coming when even these turkeys won't be able to prevent Christmas."
Banging on about Parliament having lost the moral right to sit. This is quite something. And not in a good way.
This appears to be his "Don't fire me, Boris... please!" speech.
I guess it's like vomiting on the coffee table at a party to distract from the fact you've just knocked over a priceless vase...
And just like such an incident, it doesn't matter how much composure you regain afterwards, the stink still lingers...
