1/9 I am sending a complaint to Kathryn Stone who is Parliamentary Commissioner for Standards, House of Commons. I include it here as a thread solely because there simply aren't the characters available in a tweet. I am hoping that other people on this platform RT & do likewise

4/9 Dear Commissioner,

I wish to complain about the behaviour of the Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, in the House of Commons yesterday.

5/9 His actions, attitudes and words fall well short of the minimum expectations of any Member of Parliament's conduct and is in flagrant breach of the Ministerial Code 2019, that he forwarded in August of this year, ....

6/9 particularly with respect to Sections 1.1 and 1.2, his own demands and expectations of a Minister of The Crown in his own introduction and Annex A: The Seven Principles of Public Life, towards several of which he now shows open contempt and disregard.

7/9 It is scandalous that after the ruling of the Supreme Court he chooses to act in this way and it is by far the worst conduct I have ever witnessed from any British politician in my lifetime of 67 years.

8/9 I can only hope that something can be done to address this outrage as it is clearly now deeply damaging to the national interest.

9/9 I can only plead many others do likewise. This is no longer about Brexit. It's about the expectations we have about how those in power behave & the damage it is doing to the nation both at home & internationally
