Rudy didn't read the complaint.

He thought he "got" the whistleblower because he has evidence he talked to Yermak BEFORE Trump's July 25 phone call.

But the complaint says he MET with Yermak on August 2.

So... He. Just. Corroborated. The. Complaint.
Timeline:
Jul 19: Volker hooks Rudy up with Yermak
Jul 22: Rudy and Yermak have phone call
July 25: Trump's phone call with Ukrainian president
Aug 2: Rudy meets face-to-face with Yermak
Rudy misread Section III of the complaint. BADLY.

Rudy thinks the complaint says the Aug 2 meeting is the PHONE CALL he had with Yermak on July 22... which is clearly not what the complaint says.

Indeed, it doesn't appear the whistleblower even knew about the Jul 22 call.

I have now read both the transcript of President Trump's phone call with Ukrainian President Zelensky and the whistleblower complaint publicly released today.

It is a heinous attempt to malign President Trump through diabolical editorializing.
2. Nothing in the whistleblower complaint adds anything substantive to what was revealed by the phone call transcript, although it convinced me the President did nothing wrong. Previously, I was starting to have some doubts thinking maybe the phone call transcript was incomplete.
3. There are two compelling pieces of information revealed by the whistleblower complaint which convinced me of President Trump's complete and total innocence in this seditious attempt to take down a sitting President.

The DOJ's Office of Legal Counsel released their opinion about the Treasury's refusal to turn over President #Trump's tax returns and they, as expected, agreed with the Treasury.

They do NOT have to turn them over.
They stated that Congress does not have the right to make the Executive Branch provide confidential information without a legitimate legislative purpose.
Democrats can thank themselves and Rep Richard Neal from the House Committee on Ways and Means because they and Rep Neal campaigned on "making Trump's taxes public," which was proof that Democrats were trying to abuse their positions and weaponize his taxes for campaign purposes.
