1. Matt brings up an important point here, which is that the ancien regime establishment (centrist Dems, Never Trump Republicans) is using Ukrainegate to shore up their positions.
2. Any Trump scandal, including Ukrainegate, can be framed in two radically different ways: Trump is bad because he's an aberration (the centrist view) or Trump is bad because he's taken the vices of the existing system to their absurd end (the left view).
3. The impeachment push feeds on energy that goes beyond establishment concerns about Trump's heterodoxy. Tlaib's war-cry "We're going to impeach this motherfucker!"appeals to popular discontent, not establishment desire to restore the status quo ante.

1. One big decision Dems face is what sort of impeachment do they want -- a narrow one or a broad one? Do they focus on the Ukrainian stuff or throw everything but the kitchen sink at Trump?
2. It's a tough choice. Trump has committed many crimes, some documented in the Mueller report, so why not draw up an indictment that includes them all?
3, The problem with a broad impeachment is that it'll risk becoming a slog, with Trump/GOP/FOX muddying the waters by litigating small details.

1. For someone was born, as I was, in the late 1960s, the recent discrediting of neoliberalism (at least on the rhetorical level) is bewildering even if welcome. Neo-liberalism has been the horizon of our life even if (or especially if) we opposed it.
1. Like the Munchkins in The Wizard of Oz, I'm not sure what to make of the reported death of neo-liberalism. Is the wicked witch of the east really gone? Where is the body?
2. Neo-liberalism, especially after the Reagan/Thatcher revolution & the collapse of the Warsaw bloc, was triumphant in way that no ideology or religion ever had been in human history. If it didn't have near-universal acceptance, it did define and limit all its opponents.

1. Here's the paradox: the more crimes Trump commits, the more disunited his opposition becomes. If Trump did shoot someone on 7th Avenue, not only would he get away with it, but the Dems would be tearing each other apart.
2. The answer to the paradox is simple: there is no clear Dem leader. So the worse Trump becomes, the more Dems argue over how to deal with him. This is all the moreso because Nancy Pelosi has decided to forgo leadership on impeachment.
3. The core Pelosi decision -- which I hope she changes -- is that impeachment doesn't make sense if there is no GOP buy-in. The reasoning here is that if only Dems push for impeachment it'll be seen as partisan. But this gives GOP veto power over issue.

Americans are once again allowing the Republican and Democrat party divide us over race, when in fact race is not the issue! Please look at the foreign policies these woman support, and the policies they do not support! This is not about race & we must address the real issues!

I ask for Americans to please look at the human policies these woman are addressing. I ask Americans to actually research the US Foreign Policy that causes massive Refugees and Endless War.
I ask Americans to look at who is funding the election campaigns of their representatives. I ask Americans to question why we are continously at war, when it does not benefit the United States! I ask Americans to research the foreign influence that controls US policy!

Well, here's another one, by Buzzfeed, no less. They KNEW that Trump worked WITH the FBI, yet they participated in the conspiracy against him to frame him as the guilty one.
