Ugh.

@BillHemmer just allowed Marie Harf to claim Donald Trump and Rudy Giuliani have "admitted to the facts" surrounding the complaint.

No pushback.

They have not, and those "facts" changed after the transcript did not support them. Whole claims are just patently false.
@BillHemmer If the "facts" in the complaint are so damning, then why lie about and exaggerate them?

Both Nancy Pelosi and Adam Schiff continue to claim Donald Trump asked a foreign gov't for help in 2016 and now for 2020.

We can't remember the Mueller report? Or read the transcript?

Senate Republicans can and will do what they'd like. But let me be as clear as I can about this.

No Republican outside of D.C. is looking to @MittRomney for "leadership" on this. They're looking for their party to defend their President.

If they do not, they will be decimated.

I reject the entire premise.

There's no such thing as "Reagan-Bush Conservatism". There's just Reagan Conservatism.

Neither H.W. Bush nor G.W. Bush were Reagan Conservatives. Many who now invoke the name Ronald Reagan opposed him, and only later rode his coattails for careers.
Ronald Reagan nominated George H.W. Bush not because he agreed with him philosophically, but because he was trying to unify and beef up his FP bona fides.

Reagan opposed and feared unelected bureaucrats and shadowy powerful government agencies.

H.W. Bush led one.
In fact, the Bush Wing of the Republican Party later came up with "Compassionate Conservatism" because they sought to distance themselves from the rugged individualism espoused by Reagan Conservatism, which they always believed to be cruel and unelectable.

I'd hate to agree because I don't like when people flatly say polls are "fake," as those of you who know me personally, know full-well.

But we see data indicating his approval rating rising, driven by moderate indy tickup and strong base solidification.
It would make zero sense to have near uniform base approval and, a third (Yes, A THIRD), of those same people still believing he should be impeached/removed.

It's nonsensical and GOP voters aren't persuaded by narrative like Dems are. Not meant as a dig. It's just the truth.
Even 20%. It's just not believable with an approval rating that high.

Fair warning: if you’re only here to jump in and yell “Trump will never go to prison” every time I post one of these, you’re getting blocked. You have a right to your (incorrect, legally naive, fatalist) opinion. But when you’re only here to shout me down, you’re trolling.
If you think the best solution is to keep yelling “Trump will never go to prison” then so be it. But do that in your timeline, not in my replies. Also, read the Mueller report about Trump being criminally charged as soon as he’s out of office. Also read up on the NY state probe.
