A reminder:

The most important job of the President of the United States is to keep every individual safe from Harm as well as defend and uphold the constitution.

The President is the Sheriff... The deputy is the US attorney General.

We should be able to TRUST those two.

When you have a crooked Sheriff and Deputy, the security of the nation is in danger and the Constitution may as well be Charmin Tissue: you can wipe your ass with it if you crap on your oath to defend it.

Having a law enforcement background isn't Disqualfying to hold higher office. In fact, the training to remain calm and look at the facts in crisis, to keep a cool head is CRITICAL in matters if Crisis. As President you have to work from the INSIDE in a bipartisan way for change.

It's more than Just putting folks in jail or asking tough questions, Sheriff's and their deputies advocate for the vulnerable, provide closure comfort and relief. They help those write a new chapter in their lives.

As President.... You make tough decisions and take heat for unintended consequences of those decisions. Folks may not understand why it was done at the time but time is the best judge and jury.

The ACA is the best national example of this.

State Deputies did it as well.

Barack had my brother 's keeper initiative.... This can very well can go nationwide.

This to me is an example of working across party lines to try to fix chronic problems. You look at the economic impact but also the human impact as well.

Presidents make that call every day. Bill and Barack was good a this.

Bobby was a AG and was well on his way to great things before tragedy struck. Another state AG went on to be the come back kid and lead America through the last decade of the 20th century in relative peace and prosperity.

I expect the last AG from CA can do the same.

I want Dems to stop taking a defensive posture as far as public safety. Barack Obama won because they trusted him over Romney to keep us safe. The Sheriff bagged the most wanted man in the world, While signing DACA the next year.

You can keep us safe while being compassionate.
