I don't think Trump understood that we are all going to witness the destruction of our allies the Kurds on television over the next few weeks. Betrayal of the Kurds, our interests, the West could very well becoming his defining legacy.

And he/we can't stop it now.
2/Should the House and Senate censure the President for his rash, reckless, dangerous betrayal of the Kurds? Sanctions shouldn't be on Turkey - they should be on Trump.
3/Should the President be forced to recuse himself from deliberations involving places where he has significant financial interest? Just stunning all of this remains so opaque this far into his crazy Presidency.

Future Presidents must be forced to divest.

On Aug 26th the WH learned the whistleblower complaint alleging felony level election law violations by POTUS would become public.

That day the FEC, the body in charge of enforcing US election law, was taken offline.

2/As we move deeper into the Ukraine scandal, it will be clear that we've uncovered is a massive conspiracy involving Rudy, Pence, Pompeo, Barr and dozens of others in the Admin to break US election law, illegally bend US govt into Trump campaign tool.
3/That the President is running ads falsely accusing Biden of wrongdoing w/o even an investigation is a clear sign of the corrupt intent of the President's entire Ukraine project.

1/Want to dwell on this for a second. What should we do about Trump spreading Russian disinfo? Should DNC report Trump to DHS/FBI for spreading foreign disinfo? Should DNC write letter to Trump campaign/RNC protesting this, asking for take down, cessation of these efforts?
2/Should media be calling Trump out more aggressively for the purposeful efforts to misinform and spread disinfo? Should DNC ask all news media and political actors to deny anyone taking money from RT, Sputnik airtime? How do we draw lines together, establish norms?
3/Far more attn has to be paid to the President’s Twitter feed.

It is single biggest source for mis/disinfo in English language. It is WRONG for him to use it that way. It is a betrayal of our democracy, a high crime” in the Founder’s construct. We cannot accept as normal.

@zeevs First, let’s rewind the timelines a little, and have a look at history. I hate the past and history, but as pure facts, it sometimes is needed.
@zeevs PHP emerged in its raw, primitive form, circa 1994. It’s now 25 years old. The first idea was to get rid of CGI backends, crashing segfaults, maintenance nightmare, not suited for a web world. All that in the form of scripts, parsed through a slower but safer interpreter.
