@rattijulia @tmhcnv @HealthyWashoe @washoecounty @WashoeSheriff @DarinBalaam In partnership with @noteables - inmates housed in "Unit 3" - the mental health unit - receive music therapy once per week to promote recovery and support rehabilitation efforts.

The 1st time I attempted suicide was in August of 1996. I was 18 & entering my freshman year of college. Pre-season has just started. I accepted the scholarship to the local college b/c my then-girlfriend told me if I accepted an out-of-State scholarship, that we’d break up
So I stayed in Milwaukee. Well, a month before college actually starts, I find out she was pregnant by some other guy. My world was flipped upside down. I told my assistant coach that I was having suicidal thoughts. He cried, but took me to a mental hospital...

I represented the Irish party at the European Federation of GPs and edited what we laughingly called its theoretical journal.
I also spent a year in the French party and, more interestingly, on the far left of the German party. I thought the Irish party had the potential to become a party of and for #SocialMovements. I found I was wrong, and left.

India (Bhārat), aka Republic of India (Bhārat Gaṇarājya) constitutes a mosaic of paradoxes and contradictions starting with the existence of gigantic socio-economic disparities which are in sharp contrast with the spectacular technological development in most productive sectors.
Such contradictions reflect significant measurement discrepancies which, in India's case, could be on the order of hundreds of millions of people.
Furthermore, there is the problem of Islamic terrorists, who are trained abroad and find easy fuel in the contradictions within it.
Finally, there’s agriculture which, by some estimates, accounts for 90% of India’s water consumption. Farmers meet irrigation demands by indiscriminately extracting groundwater, which some say accounts for a quarter of the world’s groundwater usage.

I really wish people would stop hauling this out because it's a gross, blatant misrepresentation of what the proposed rule actually did. Having a representative payee for your SSD check doesn't mean you were ever adjudicated to be mentally defective, therefore it didn't meet /1
the requirements for reporting to the NCIS/National Instant Criminal Background Check System. The rule was NEVER PUT INTO EFFECT and not putting it into effect did not change anything in existing law. It absolutely did not "make it easier for some people to buy weapons of war"
It was opposed by the ACLU, the American Association of People with Disabilities, the National Alliance on Mental Illness, ADAPT, the Association of Mature American Citizensthe Bazelon Center for Mental Health Law, the Consortium for Citizens with Disabilities, the Disability Law
