The firm has come under scanner in our research in many aspects of National Security as well.

As per the report MO of foreign PE firms like KKR is to borrow money from Indian Banks at 8-9% and then lend it to Indian businesses at a whopping 20-25% - the high rates of interest makes it difficult for native business to survive or remain profitable to repay the lenders.
KKR is the second largest foreign PE investor in #CCD with 6.07% (1.28 crore shares) after selling approx 4.25% in Feb 2018, making at the time 10.3%. Foreign investors together hold 22.35% stake in #CafeCoffeeDay valued at Rs 724 crore.

A student once asked me, in the middle of teaching Ancient Civilizations, “Why don’t we ever learn about Brooklyn?”

The notion bothered me all week. Why didn’t we? Student communities have so many rich learning opportunities that deserve to be explored outside of....
...a quick museum trip or a quick guest visit. We could have the same outcomes and use the same standards with Brooklyn-themed historical/current texts, experiences, and more. We wouldn’t have to roleplay, like my students pictured in my classroom above. ☝🏾
Instead of being confined to the classroom, we could learn without walls, on the steps of Jackie Robinson’s house, in the @Weeksville Heritage Center, in the archives of @BKLYNlibrary, & so much more.

At least 10 loyalist KIA including 1 on Jub Ahmar (#Latakia/#Hama border)

HOWEVER May 6 was also 'martyrs day' so Facebook was flooded w/ old martyr posts making collecting accurate data very difficult.
7 of these deaths were #Tiger_Forces w/ 6 from #Taha_Regiment's Maskana Group and Omar Naqr Group (pic)

Jub Ahmar death was from #4th_Division, although I was told there were many other deaths here not reported on loyalist social media.
