@Superciliously @cmclymer If you're sincerely asking, I will sincerely answer, but will take a few tweets. I'll come back to this when I'm at my computer (easier to type out there than on my phone). ✌🙂
@Superciliously @cmclymer Ok, so let's go back before the 2016 elections. I don't have a date for this, but given that she's wearing the bob haircut she first became known for during the financial crisis, it's most likely sometime circa 2008-2011. Here she is, praising #Bernie2020's integrity. 1/?
@Superciliously @cmclymer Here she is in 2002 on Bill Moyers, talking about HRC's help (as FLOTUS) in having stopped a bill that Warren was sounding the alarm on. Yrs later, Senator Clinton voted in favor of that same bill that came back up again. Listen to her explanation... 2/?
@Superciliously @cmclymer So, putting both of those videos together, you can see why, in 2016, Bernie's supporters were SO SURE she was in our corner. We were POSITIVE she would endorse #Bernie, would could have been a really helpful bump in his name recognition, popularity, legitimacy as a contender. 3/?
@Superciliously @cmclymer But she didn't endorse #BernieSanders. She stayed on the sidelines, waiting to see which way the winds were blowing. Once HRC had the delegates locked up, she endorsed her. All the trust the left had in her as an anti-corruption advocate (as #Bernie always has been) was lost. 4/?
@Superciliously @cmclymer So, now she decides to run for president. She starts off using lobbyist language like "many paths to" #MedicareForAll and wanting to "make access to health care more affordable." Only after polling showed #M4A's popularity did her language get less wishy washy on it. 5/
@Superciliously @cmclymer That's just one example, and I'm not going to go through it all, but suffice it to say that her entire platform is #Bernie's, only with tweaks to make it more corporate-friendly. She has become exactly the senator she noted HRC had become in that Moyers video. 6/?
@Superciliously @cmclymer She voted in favor of military spending increases, and has said nothing about dialing back the military spending or empire-building... just making it greener. She won't take special interest money for the primary, but will in the general (if she makes it). 7/?
@Superciliously @cmclymer Having watched the evolution from who she was 10 years ago to now, it's become quite clear that DC got to her. She is corrupt, just like most other people who pursue office with the best intentions, but then the temptation of greed, power and influence take hold. 8/?
@Superciliously @cmclymer #Bernie2020 seems to be the only one who stands firm in his advocacy for We the People. He does not now, nor has he ever accepted any special interest money to fund his campaigns -- this isn't just a gimmick since he's run for POTUS. He is a TRUE public servant. 9/?
@Superciliously @cmclymer So that, in a nutshell, is why #NotMeUs is not thrilled with Warren. It's not just that she's a competitor in the primaries; it's that she betrayed us. We trusted her, we donated to her Senate campaigns, we believed in her. But she went to the dark side. End of story. 10/10
@Superciliously @cmclymer Coming back to add one more, relevant to the claim that she's not trusted by progressives. This was the prevailing sentiment towards her in 2016 and it hasn't changed for most of #NotMeUs
@Superciliously @cmclymer Back again with one more addition to prove she's not about the movement; she's about the money. We don't need a continuation of the same approach that's perpetuated the status quo. #IntegrityMatters #Bernie2020
