BREAKING: House Democrats just transmitted a subpoena to the WH asking for documents related to the Trump-Zelensky call. oversight.house.gov/sites/democrat…
Cummings, Schiff and Engel are saying the WH has until October 18 to produce documents related to Trump allegedly pressuring Ukraine to investigate former VP Joe Biden for his own political gain.

The subpoena is being issued by the House Oversight Committee the Dems write.
WH Press Secretary: "This subpoena changes nothing – just more document requests, wasted time, and taxpayer dollars that will...show the President did nothing wrong. The Do Nothing Democrats can continue w/ their kangaroo court while" Trump works "on behalf of the American ppl."

Confirmed: A source familiar tells me the State Department IG briefing on the Hill is about retaliation against State Department officials who are trying to cooperate with House Democrats.
Reuters also reported that two sources familiar with the matter, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said the IG planned to brief congressional committees about recent instances of potential political retaliation by agency leaders against career official. reuters.com/article/us-usa…
Rep. Jamie Raskin said the purpose of the IG briefing today was to share information he had since May and doesn't relate to Trump's conduct re: Ukraine.

The IG turned over documents that contained mostly conspiracy theories, Raskin said.

He says Trump has a “white superiority complex" and the party is pursing a "pro-white" agenda.

The final straw for Cheadle came when he watched Republicans defend Trump’s tweets telling four congresswomen to go back to their countries as well as defend Trump’s attacks on Rep. Cummings and Baltimore. "I thought this is a classic case of whites not seeing racism," he said.
“Pres. Trump is a rich guy who is mired in white privilege to the extreme,” said Cheadle who has unsuccessfully run for Congress four times. “Republicans are too sheepish to call him out on anything and they are afraid of losing their positions and losing any power themselves.”

Ken Cuccinelli says some of benefits not included in the changes are some assistances to pregnant women, mortgage loans and students loans. Bu benefits like food stamps, cash assistance and other benefits will count against immigrants. Refugees and asylum seekers aren’t impacted
Americans and immigrants have “pulled themselves up by their boot straps” in the past, Cuccinelli says and adds that this rule change is about “encouraging core values” that will help people reach the “American dream.”
We are looking for people "who can stand on their own two feet," Cuccinelli said adding that it would be heavily weight negatively if an immigrant uses the benefits for longer than than the government's rule states.
