ICE employees are complicit in the atrocities happening in our inhumane immigration system. Why are we committing to help people complicit in this system find new and better jobs? A few reasons. #NeverAgainIsNow bit.ly/quitice
First, there are conscientious objectors stuck inside ICE. They don't want to be there, but it's not always easy to quit your job. You have bills to pay; you have relatives who rely on your health insurance. So we're helping them defect. #NeverAgainIsNow bit.ly/quitice
Second, this plan doesn't just throw a wrench in the machine; it pulls the gears out 1 by 1. It takes ~6 months to hire a new ICE officer & then months of training afterwards. That costs the system time & money & slows everything down. #NeverAgainIsNow bit.ly/quitice
Third, this plan encourages more people to become active in our movement. If contributing through direct action & protest isn't your thing, maybe you can contribute by volunteering your professional expertise. #NeverAgainIsNow bit.ly/quitice
