People mad about companies relenting to China’s request to suppress Hong Kong protest related things should know that companies are not people.

assuming that companies should have morals (like freedom of speech) is a category mistake.
Companies are algorithms designed to maximise one metric: shareholder profits.

Being mad at companies to not cut off a market with billion people is like being mad at a toaster for toasting.

Get mad at the (capitalist) system, not its components.
