Whatever issue got you into politics, progress is hard because of one thing: Money. Our government works great for the wealthy and well-connected but not for anyone else.
As part of my campaign, I haven’t been taking PAC money or federal lobbyist money or giving special access to rich donors through call time or high-dollar fundraisers.
And when I’m the Democratic nominee for president, I’m not going to change a thing in how I run my campaign: No PAC money. No federal lobbyist money. No special access or call time with wealthy donors or high-dollar fundraisers to underwrite my campaign.

I will also do everything I can to build our party infrastructure and strengthen Democratic candidates up and down the ballot across the country. In 2018, I gave or raised more than $11 million to state and local candidates and parties.
I’m going to continue helping the Democratic Party and Democratic candidates everywhere so we have the resources not just to beat Donald Trump but also to win back Congress and state legislatures all across the country. That’s how we’re going to make big, structural change.
