On Wednesday & Thursday this week (thanks to many of you who generously donated to our crowdfund) a group of #RemainerNow are heading to Brussels to meet with MEPs & officials to show that the UK has changed its mind on Brexit. So what's happening?

The plans include:

🔺 A 2 hour sit down with numerous MEPs and officials from several countries
🔺A media session arranged by several UK MEPs
🔺Lunch meetings with several others
🔺A tour of the various buildings
🔺Meeting up with Brussels based anti-brexit activists.

The UK MEPs who we are definitely meeting include @MartinChelt & @CarolineVoaden of the @libdems, @SebDance & @RCorbettMEP from Labour & @AlynSmith from @theSNP. So do keep an eye on feeds.

Sadly Green MEPs are not actually in Brussels but they are supportive of the trip.

So (in no particular order) which #Remainernow are coming?

First we have @SimRiyat he is a very active #RemainerNow. He has previously marched with us, come to meet MPs in parliament, spoken at other events and written articles like this one.

Next we have @Snoozette1 she changed her mind the day after to vote (writing to her MP @CarolineLucas 2 days later). She is very active, she has marched, joined @SODEMAction, spoke at our Brighton event last month and she was in our @standardnews article a week or so ago.

We also have @damidude, Dami actually volunteered @vote_leave in (see guardian article) but long since changed his mind. He has had a couple of TV appearances, he has come to the House of Commons, he has marched and is active with @EM4PV.

It's great that @Dan4Huntingdon coming. He has been active with is for a year now. He wrote in the Metro, has been on marches and (despite being a Green member) was a big part of our team @libdems conference last month. Here he was speaking @ElyforEurope event recently.

We also have @ardendraught. He is also an active #RemainerNow. He has come to HOC with us, joined a march, spoke at our event in Bournemouth, was in the recent Standard article and often calls shows like @lbc to argue against brexit, like this to @AndrewCastle63 recently.

We are very pleased that @mcDarke is coming. He is extremely vocal and active. He calls @lbc regularly to talk about being a #RemainerNow, he was been on @VictoriaLive recently and this was his passionate speech at @march_change recently.

We also have @EmmaJaneManley1, she ran as an MEP candidate for @ForChange_Now in the EU elections and she wrote the below article when she did. She also recently gave her story in our recent @standardnews article.

It's great that @juliantblack is coming too. He changed his mind before the #EURef happened but it was too late to change his postal vote. He has been vocal for a long time. He recently spoke at our event in Bournemouth & just last week he spoke at an event by @Dorset4E

We also have @CallumWilliamT coming. Whilst he was 17 at the time, he actively campaigned for Vote Leave. He is very vocal, he came to parliament in January, he went on a Channel 4 debate, he has been on french & Brazilian media & wrote this...

Representing Yorkshire we have @JamesMellor22. He does loads, he's spoken at rallies in 4 cities, come to the House of Commons to meet MPs, he was in the Standard article recently & he filmed this great video with @peoplesvote_uk several months ago.

We also have @TalkieWalkie1 & his mum. Neither of these are fully fledged #RemainerNow but they have become more & more concerned about #Brexit & were very interested to come to learn more. Here was Chris in Jan & no doubt they will add to the trip.

We also have a lady called Katherine coming, she is not on twitter but like @TalkieWalkie1 has been gradually reconsidering her leave vote & was keen to come on the #RemainerNowInBrussels to perhaps address some of her concerns about the way the organisation operates.

We also have @victoriaremain1 (campaign manager), Alex (digital campaign consultant) & @vulpinevideo (a volunteer to help get great video footage) to ensure the trip runs smoothly and we get some great content from the event to use going forward.

So that gives you an idea about who is coming and gives you an idea of who we are meeting whilst the group is there.
