There is no way Scheer will win a majority. He may get his shot at PM if the seat split makes it impossible for a stable Liberal minority government. But it’s unlikely. We’re looking at a possible Italian job.
The Conservatives are going to have to do some soul searching when this is done. Creepy Harper was capable of keeping the the yellow vest people in line. Scheer let them loose and gave them a hug. Manning is the one that brought them in and normalized them as Conservatives.
The creepy right can’t win an election in this country. People see through it. Harper was a dictator in his party and even he couldn’t keep a lid on it. And he’s a control freak. They may be out for eternity if they don’t dump the yellow-vest creeps.
There is no Harper clone, so they really need to reformulate if they want to survive. They may be incapable of that. But the leadership race is inevitable. #WeakAndy will be out in no time.

Most people think carpet-bagger Jason Kenney is the natural choice. True, he’s creepy. He has never had a job, human romantic partner, lives in his mom’s basement and hates women. These are traits that the extreme right seems to admire. But he may not be ready to jump just yet
I see Jody Wilson-Raybould as the unexpected Conservative leader. Her legislation was all full-on Conservative. She might as well have been a double agent. Her husband is connected to the Fraser Institute. She’s got credibility for the Brutus style job on JT.
Jody Wilson-Raybould knows that she could never win that riding as a Conservative but she’s tactical enough to run as an independent knowing people will vote for her on the moralist stance. Then she’ll hold power in the Conservative minority. Then make her run for the top.
