Two adoption agencies in Colorado and Arizona are trying to erase their online ties to @PaulDPetersen and his @RMI_Govt Marshall Islands adoption scheme. They've been deleting stuff they don't want you to see. But don't worry, I've got receipts.

Before I show you the goods, the @RMI_Govt president said Thursday she is pleased with Petersen's arrest on human smuggling charges. It's illegal for Marshallese women to come to the U.S. to give birth and put their babies up for adoption.

Let's get started with Bright Star Adoptions. Owner Linda Gansler is Petersen's partner. Has been for years. She's been busy this week deleting social media accounts and her website. Here's the biography she got rid of. It gets better.

Also deleted. Her page showing @PaulDPetersen as Bright Star's in-house counsel. He was a lot more than that. He was her partner in the adoption business. There's also more about Gansler. No highlight needed.

Curiously, the address of Petersen's law firm was also Bright Star's address. Gansler told hopeful parents she started the agency with Petersen because of the large Marshallese population in Phoenix.

Next comes the list of Bright Star's staff. Also gone.

Did I mention social media deletion? Facebook, Twitter, Instagram. All gone.

Now let's talk the fees they charged parents who wanted to adopt a chilkd. By the way, the price for a baby from the Marshall islands was $35K. Note, Bright Star called it: "our Marshall island program."

It's worth noting, Bright Star had a refund policy.

This one's interesting. Just go with me. It's Bright Star's contact sheet. It lists Adopt Triad Consultants as a "matching program. It's really Gansler's old adoption agency in Colorado. You know, the one she worked at with Petersen for years.

Now, about Adopt Triad Consultants. Called them on Monday. Executive director Maria Spencer said she had no affiliation with Petersen or Gansler. You know, like it was a big surprise. Guess what happened?

Spencer hung up on me. and shortly after her picture was removed from Adopt Triad Consultants' website. Coincidence? Here's the thing, Spencer owes her job to Gansler.

This raises some serious questions about the breadth of Petersen's adoption scheme. No adoption agencies were named in state and federal indictments. But our investigation @azcentral found the Marshall Islands adoptions went beyond Petersen's law firm.
