Tech has bent too far in the direction of the heckler’s veto over the last few years.
It will take time, but the pendulum is now swinging back.
1) Facebook is so powerful that it must be broken up
2) Facebook is “just” a private company so it should censor at will
No. When you have two billion people on your platform, you need to think about the spirit of the law too.
But in the long term E2E encryption & crypto will change that.
Come for the money, stay for the freedom. Attract people with a digital asset, keep them with freedom of speech.
