2/ The two curves are elegantly inversely correlated: as Christian-affiliated adults decreased, "non-affiliated" adults increased (a) non-affiliated doesn't mean not "believer in a deity"; (b) these non-affiliated are probably coming from the shrinking...

4/ There's a very slight increase in "other religions" and atheists (although relatively speaking it is huge: they doubled).
5/ The large decrease in Catholicism combined with a small increase in evangelical faiths and a large increase in "nons" among Hispanics is great news: evangelicals are desperate to grab this population.
6/ The immense growth in evangelical affiliation in Brazil is one of the most important factors in the rise of the far-right and election of an unapologetic fascist president (Bolsonaro). So this is good, very good.
