Just to be very clear, the imminent election will be our absolutely last chance to stop Brexit, save the NHS, and rescue the country from a far-right takeover that will genuinely ruin us financially, socially, culturally and geopolitically for decades.

1/
Make no mistake, if Johnson wins, it's game over. We're all screwed (unless, of course, you're a non-dom billionare, then you're laughing... Check your postcode and bank balance to confirm how you'll fare).

2/
The ONLY way we can win this crucial fight and save the country is to all be prepared to set aside party loyalty, or genuine preferences for candidates or leaders, and vote for whoever is most likely to beat the Tories in your area. That is the inescapable reality of FPTP.

3/
I know that will be painful for many, especially those who love Corbyn but live in a Tory / LD (or Green) marginal, or despise Corbyn but live in a Tory / Labour marginal, or despise Swinson but live in a Tory / LD marginal.

4/
But you have to ask yourself whether you'd prefer the country to be run by a Labour / LD coalition (with moderation of both sides baked-in), or a Tory / Brexit Party coalition (with swivel-eyed xenophobia and race-to-the-bottom rights incineration baked-in).

5/
We need to prepare ourselves for some heroic nose-holding, where required, however painful that may be, or the pain that follows will be so very, very much worse and last for a generation (at least). Please think it over. We really won't get another go at this.

6/
Please hassle everyone you know (especially young people) to register to vote, and get students to register at both home and uni addresses. And please explain the dangers and the need for tactical voting to them.

7/
The biggest risk we now face is good people being unaware of the huge risks, blindly voting for their first preference, and gifting the country to Johnson, Farage (and, ultimately, Trump).

8/
Important note: This is one of many tactical voting pundits. I suggest you consult them all to make an informed decision. And wait till very close to election day when up to date polling has been factored in before you decide.
In light of the results, @uk_domain_names had the best advice for the EU elections of the vast swathe it studied, but multiple sources is key.
Here's another solid source. But consult EVERYONE. getvoting.org
And the @thatginamiller sponsored one (@remainutd) is another to keep an eye on from next week, once they've had time to update. twitter.com/remainutd?s=09
