The CrowdStrike theory that Trump asked Zelensky about is completely made up. There was no wealthy Ukrainian, as Trump falsely claimed, and there was no server in Ukraine, as Trump falsely claimed.

Conducting foreign policy via conspiracy theory is also an impeachable offense.
Sorry, folks. Asking a foreign power to investigate an American company because the president can't seem to grasp that he's been the victim of a conspiracy theory (even though members of his own staff kept telling him!) is not exculpatory.
And, by the way, the Zelensky call demonstrates just how dangerous it is to elect a conspiracy theorist.

We knew that Trump was vulnerable to them, him being the chief Birther. The call establishes that he'll let conspiracy theories alter U.S. foreign policy. That's dangerous.
