The Automated People Mover will solve our traffic and pickup problems for good. But in the meantime, #LAXit is here to help you exit – and we’re working to make it better every day. (2/8)

We know that the last few days have been bumpy (to say the least). Here are some things we are doing to make #LAXit better for our guests, especially at peak times: (3/8)

In the last three days we have:
– Added signage to help guests navigate to #LAXit
–Adjusted traffic patterns to improve shuttle & vehicle flow through the Central Terminal Area & changed roadway markings
–Provided more training to shuttle operators to improve route speeds (4/8)

As of today we have:
– Increased our shuttle fleet to speed up transportation to the #LAXit lot.
– Established dynamic shuttle schedules and re-routes to account for changing volume at different terminals at different times of day. (5/8)

We are continuing to work closely with ride app partners to ensure improvements in the #LAXit lot, particularly during peak hours when clear challenges have been identified and guests continue to face long wait times. (6/8)

Guests not using taxis or ride apps have seen a dramatic decrease in traffic in the Central Terminal Area, with vehicle speeds on the upper level increasing by 34% per day on average, and 6% per day on the lower level. (7/8)
