How many men must we kill until men stop raping us? I will continue asking that question. It ignited a firestorm after I asked it on #qanda on Australian TV & I will keep on asking it. Half of rape victims drop out of cases even after suspect is identified theguardian.com/society/2019/n…
On that #qanda episode and in my book I quote feminist psychiatrist Judith Herman: “The legal system was designed to protect men from the superior power of the state but not to protect women and children from the superior power of men.”
And I will keep on asking that question until there is more outrage at the second half of my question as there is at the first half.

I’m about to board to start my journey home. #Australia it has been an intense and wonderful week of seeing good friends, making new ones, speaking at @UNSWCentreIdeas #unswideas, @wheelercentre #broadside2019, and appearing on #qanda. I stand by everything I said.
It is fucking ridiculous that the ABC has pulled the show from repeat views & that the government is involved via a ministerial statement & parliament inquiry. Such censorship & govt interference are dangerous & sinister esp in light of raids against the media in #Australia.
It is instructive that outrage over daily and actual violence against women and gender diverse people does not warrant such swift investigations or govt action. Instead, asking “How many rapists must we kill until men stop raping us?” terrifies white men into action.

Over, the last 3 days. I've heard a lot about how having a penis makes one an automatic superior. One guy even said yesterday that man was created first so that makes him superior, as if the first car ever manufactured is better than the 2017 model.
So I decided for once to examine gender equality right from the religious (biblical) perspective and I found some really interesting stuff.

First off, God designed both the man and woman in His own image equally (Genesis 1:26–27).

I attended Nuestra Señora del Rosario school, located in Espinal, 15Km away from Chicoral. Due to the high heat by noon, all schools start really early back home. This meant, I had to wake up at 5am to attend school every morning since I was 4 years old. #VoicesIWS
