this isnt how things work. why do people think there's some moment when you can go "ah, ok, now that we won the election we can breathe and relax and offer a plan"? it simply doesnt work this way.
in modern politics you present a big idea and then you go-go-go. there's no time to stop, collect your thoughts, and govern. time spent doing that gives the enemy time to attack. its like everyone slept through obama and clinton's first 2 years.
