UNN were instrumental in spreading a misleading story about Jo Swinson's husband personally financially benefiting from EU membership a few weeks ago.

After the story was debunked they kept reporting on it, weaving in classic dog whistles about George Soros.

28 articles in the last two years reference Soros with relation to his financing and wealth. This is sustained and deliberate targeting. (4/8)

They also repost articles from Veterans Today. A pro-Putin, antisemitic fake news website.

VT's other greatest hits include: contributors suggesting Israel did 9/11, and *ahem* defending Adolf Hitler. (5/8)

UNN are also defenders of Stephen Yaxley-Lennon (aka Tommy Robinson), the Islamophobic, racist campaigner.

Co-founder David Clews says UNN "fully supported the campaign to free him" and they have shared videos of Yaxley-Lennon with far-right German activist Lutz Bachmann. (6/8)

So, who's paying their wages?

Their money comes from individual donations, facilitated by the @CharityCheckout platform, a donation platform for small/medium *charities*, who's clients include: @FBeyondBorders, @Habitat_org and @ShelterBox. (7/8)

Their website shows that they have raised over £45m for some amazing charities since they started in 2012.
