House lawyers said more than a month ago that they were investigating whether Trump lied to Mueller:

One of the reasons Dems went to court to get Mueller grand jury material was to test Trump's truthfulness.

“Those materials...have direct bearing on whether the president was untruthful...when ...he denied being aware of any communications between his campaign and WikiLeaks,”
WORTH NOTING: Democrats have known what's underneath the Mueller report redactions re: Roger Stone for months. They negotiated access to see the full report (except for grand jury material) a while back.

So Dems didn't learn a whole lot from the trial that they didn't know.
LASTLY: House lawyers have been rerepsenting in court since September that impeachment is not limited to Ukraine but that Mueller material is still actively under consideration, along with other potential areas.

Per the Times, the IG report also indicates that MIFSUD is *not* an FBI informant and no evidence from CIA or Steele Dossier were used to open Russia probe -- a claim Trump and allies have made for years. nytimes.com/2019/11/22/us/…

IMPORTANT: U.S. intel agencies recently warned senators that the suggestion Ukraine interfered in the 2016 election is really a Russian operation to muddy questions about what Moscow did.

In particular, Russia seized on actual occurences -- some scattershot efforts by embassy officials and lawmakers to criticize Trump or Manafort -- and mixed them with conspiracy theories about a government-wide plot.
