Part of my impetus for addressing this topic was the fact that I kept meeting professional archaeologists who professed to have never even heard of Graham Hancock.

I apologize to all of you who would have been better off never knowing about him and his books.

There's a growing chorus to shutdown/sell #SAA, but is there another way? Can #SAA be saved? If so, how?

(Why save #SAA is a conversation for another day)

My personal views on how to fix and save #SAA.

A) Steps required to fix #SAA.
B) Preconditions for success.
I am a believer in 3-point plans. It's easier to remember 3 things than it is to remember 10. But I'm going to break my own philosophy (given more time and the obligatory consulting fee, I could reduce this to a 3-point plan).
A) Steps to Fix #SAA over a 36 month period. Thirty-six months is long enough to stabilise and put the airline on the sound footing. The journey back to the top is an altogether longer process.

I've encountered lots of people who react angrily to the assertion that #AncientAliens claims are rooted in racism. Many will assert the show is about technology & evidence of alien contact, not race. Or will instead get upset that "academics" want to make everything about race.
I do believe, that most viewers of the show are not attracted to it for racially motivated reasons, but that doesn't mean there's nothing to this idea.

There are lots of things in this world that may not appear racially motivated if we don't know the history behind them.

#SAA General Staff come to the conclusion that the current Syrian contingent in #AlSafa front against #ISIS/#Daesh militants won't be decided by the present forces & sent reinforcements to the area
At first,only 1 #SAA armored division & 1st Commando Division fought there #Syria
Now almost all of #SAA combat units are concentrated on #AlSafa

#SAA started new operation to clean #Suwayda desert from #ISIS groups (evacuated from S. #Damascus some weeks ago). Army took control over Ashrifiyah & Awra areas. #ISIS still has presence in Tall Sa'd, Tamutha, Al Kura & Qaa al Banāt
#Suwayda : #SAA expelled #ISIS from Mushirifah/Khirbet al-Umbashi area
#Suwayda : #SAA advanced from 3 axis, advancing many km in the third one & getting fire control over Al Kura in the first one (Map corrected)

We started a new year (I hope the last) of the Syrian civil war. But 2017 has been the most important year & the result of inflection point of the war in 2016 with many political & military developments : (1)
The first military operation of #SAA was Wadi Bara (23/12/2016 - 29/1/2017) which finished with the evacuation of rebels from Wadi Barada & the North montainous area in the border with Lebanon. At the same time other forces advanced in E.Ghouta reaching some parts of Hazrama (2)
#SDF started the second phase of #WrathOfEuphrates operation on December securing the West flank of #Raqqa plains (3)
