What would #content look like in 2050 and what should you be doing today to stay relevant in 2050.

Here is what I learnt at the #contentmarketingsummit yesterday

Content is like fashion. Recycle ♻️ the old forms of content with a twist - example: videos to holograms; AR/VR - any form of interactive content that can help people feel less lonely will help brands position themselves as leaders.
Real stories. Real emotions will always work. Better than any influencer. Why do you think The Popxo girls are so famous today? Because they portray real people and are relatable AF. ♥️
Podcasts could soon become the new videos. Most marketers are sold on this medium of content and vouch for its effectiveness.🎙
Streaming services are winning big as most short films and web content move to a Netflix or an Amazon Prime. More people prefer to watch stuff @ their comfort and preferred device! 📲
A family would rather pay ₹800 for a Netflix subscription than pay ₹1500 at a multiplex.💻
While a lot of these might not sound like ground breaking ideas, the rate at which these changes are to happen is what’s worth watching.

Today’s marketers are very #data savvy and love experimenting with different formats.
This one’s my personal favourite:

Content marketing will be used to make decisions in the board room - crucial ones that will have direct impact on revenue.

For a long time, content was synonymous not just writing ✍️ and beautifying. Not any more.
There’s a whole new wave of content marketers that are going to emerge from different nooks of the country.

I think about 30% of Content writers will evolve to become content marketers by the end of 2023 and take up leadership positions to drive impact.
