Today's #SatNerdOut is brought by a follower, who emailed me a study about how much partisan cues impact people's perceptions of veracity (truth) of info finding that once they realize they are partisan-cuing many can temporarily reset their ability to gauge truth (at least in 
a lab setting!) but that after about a week, they begin to re-believe the falsehoods. Which means, not only do you need to correct the falsehoods by getting the correct info in front of the person FROM A SOURCE THEY TRUST, you would then need to keep that correction constantly
refreshing so it doesn't get replaced by the lies. Now, Trump's a bumbling idiot in almost everything (see flagrancy of Ukraine scandal) but in 1 thing he has been extremely shrewd: undercutting the credibility of all sources of real data & info. That's why showing your Trump
supporting parents his 13K lies on the WAPO fact checker is useless. Your parents have spent 48 months hearing that the WAPO (& every other source of actual info) is fake news & a deep state conspiracy. This, unfortunately, has become normalized in the way the media covers Trump
