Could be rabbits tomorrow but relatively thin. Tory gambit is clearly to have a steady as she goes pitch, country has had enough upheaval and will look kindly on that vs Labour transformation. Could well be right. But not much to govern on til 2024.
In many ways, that’s what “Get Brexit Done” means. It’s a code for not just ending Brexit- but for making politics stop. Makes sense then to promise very little. We thus have v little idea, perhaps less than any other recent PM, of what Johnson would do with a majority.
