Fact is @UKLabour are deliberately fielding a deeply unpopular leader who has lost every external election (locals, GE, Euros),sometimes spectacularly

In doing so they have demonstrated that keeping Corbyn & blaming everyone else is is more important than protecting their voters

@UKLabour @UKLabour has had years to look at polls,election results & #Brexit fence sitting & take stock, to think about what it is here for, which is to be in government

It has chosen however to keep an unpopular leader & blame everyone else for that unpopularity

@UKLabour When Johnson sweeps to power & Corbyn is finally allowed to step aside for a Long-Bailey or similar Corbyn faithful, @UKLabour will comfort itself with "the MSM was unfair" & "LDs did austerity & Swinson wants a nuclear war" & "it was the Blairites"

@UKLabour The reality is however, @UKLabour didn't actually care about the poor, the vulnerable, the NHS, or even being in government

Because all of that was less important than supporting Corbyn to the exclusion of all evidence

@UKLabour If you support a leader who could only possibly be PM if his Tory opponent was *worse* than May, then you don't actually want to change anything

You just want to talk about how important that change is, pontificating from an ivory tower on the sidelines
