Corbyn was less popular than May & "Don't know" for 2 years! What did you think would happen when he was facing a populist?

2) Blame the LDs, blame the media, blame smears, blame "remainers not working together", blame whoever or whatever you want

The public told @UKLabour consistently, for 2 years, that Corbyn, *personally*, was deeply unpopular

And @UKLabour ignored them

@UKLabour 3) 2017 was not a bounce but an act of desperation by Remainers, and @UKLabour still lost

The Labour party have indulged this man for far too long, and put their head in the sand on his personal polling, blaming everything except the reality. He just isn't that good, or popular

@UKLabour 5) if there had been a popular, talented, articulate Labour leader in place we would have had a Government of National Unity

But Corbyn was never going to have the numbers *or* any kind of public mandate with his polling so low

GNU was scuppered, and Labour blamed everyone else

Unfortunately, this time, the entire country, and Labour voters in particular, will suffer for that selfish, myopic self indulgence
