I am so amused by the many in the media who have their jobs due to nepotism, the Trump children who would bus tables if hired on their own merit, the second and third-generation politicians who are shocked by Hunter Biden getting some nice jobs because of his name.
I mean, sure there's a Billy Carter kind of shamelessness about him getting thrown out of the Navy, getting some woman pregnant, cheating on his wife, and getting jobs that embarrass his dad. But really, isn't it possible Luke Russert got ahead because of his father?
Would Molly Jong Fast be at the New York Times without her mom and dad? What about Katy Tur? Not to mention the NYTimes if a family paper and the latest Sulzberger has let standard slide with the likes of Jeff Gerth, Ken Vogel, etc. I'm not going to defend Hunter Biden,
but the pretense that he is something unusual is a joke. Name an industry where successful people's children do not benefit from their parents' success.
