It’s bonkers that A Christmas Carol was published December 19, 1843, when it should have been published, absolute latest, the Tuesday before Thanksgiving.

Periodic reminder that that ghastly film of which some of you are inexplicably fond including the Laura Linney subplot that makes me want to break things has no comma in its title, happy holidays to everyone, also decent people put applesauce on latkes.
Also, Chanukah is the superior spelling because at least half of you will double the wrong consonant in the inferior spelling, rendering it even inferiorer.
"Hanukkah" is for goyim, like "Shavuoth."

I'm no constitutional scholar, but this sounds pretty g.d. unconstitutional to me.
I seem to be in one of my "g.d." moods, which is what happens when I find myself saying "fucking" and "hey, Franklin Graham, go eat a bag of dicks" too much.
Has anyone in history ever actually uttered "g.d." besides Martha, right before "swamp"?

[For the record, Albee renders it "G.D.," though there's a typo in my 1962 hardcover, so it's "A.G.D. swamp."]

I am curious what the implications of; supply chain (manufacturers of smartphones), accessibility (when traveling internationally) and “locking” out smaller or competitive providers CDMA vs 5G etc.
This creates a “lock out” & it’s disappointing the DOJ reversed course

It's the night before thanksgiving. It's cold and wet outside. #CampFire evacuees are still bracing the elements and looking for shelter. Here are some images I'd like to share some images from my time exploring the Chico Walmart parking lot, a temporary refuge for some.
Folks like Sarah, Martin and James, from Magalia, have made the most out of their circumstance. A parking spot was their living room. They set up a propane heater (which was stolen in the middle of the night later) and a television to watch the latest news on the #CampFire.
Brenda Wilson tried very hard to keep her dog Scooby warm. The dog was shivering. She slept in the car. She was cold herself. She was distraught and wanted to go home. When I spoke to her, she had no idea if her home survived the #CampFire.
