@tfbrexit gets it hopelessly wrong, again. The article isn’t about EU law but the Energy Charter Treaty (as the article itself says, if @tfbrexit would have seen if they’d read to the end before excitedly tweeting). Leaving the EU leaves us in the ECT.

And NB that Article 1, protocol 1 of the European Convention on Human Rights also requires fair compensation to owners of assets compulsorily purchased by the state. Are @tfbrexit in favour of leaving the ECHR, too?

There are some left wing arguments for Brexit. And some of them find their way on to the @tfbrexit site. But so many are just factually and legally wrong: and these seem to be the ones that get @tfbrexit excited. For a site dominated by academics, that’s a bit disappointing.
