Today, while the "tent courts" for people in the Remain in Mexico program are closed to the public, people can still be in the same room as the judge.

That will not be the case here. Zero public access. Zero public information.

We're at the secret hearings stage, folks!
Throughout the summer, government officials repeatedly argued that "tent court" hearings weren't secret, rejecting our criticism on the grounds that could go to a public courtroom where the judge was sitting.

But in this new scenario, even that will become impossible.
In the last few weeks, DC has been consumed with a debate about what "due process" means.

But will people like Prof. @RandyEBarnett bring the same level of outrage about due process to secret court hearings for life and death asylum decisions?
