People call out "this is political" when something doesn't agree with their own politics.
To try and close down such discussions with lines of "it is political" is the antithesis of what mapping is about.
You are not needed.
You are of no use.
Me : "Mapping is highly political and shouldn't be in tech conferences like #MapCamp" ... sums it up.
There is no issue with debate, we could discuss the politics of mapping with a map but I won't accept trying to close debate with cries of "politics".
