BREAKING: It has come to light that the judge who threw out @MarcusJBall’s case against Boris Johnson used to be Johnson’s lawyer.

It appears, according to evidence seen that Justice Mr Supperstone used to be Boris Johnson’s lawyer with a prior payment of public funds from Mayor of London Boris Johnson’s accounts to his own at a value of £35,500. /2
Lady Justice Rafferty’s husband’s household received a significant financial benefit of £848 a day from a Government Minister who had carried out very similar activity to Johnson by endorsing the same financial claim whilst campaigning with the accused, Ball claims /3
“I also make accusations of apparent and actual bias on this case concerning your written ruling on the basis of intellectual dishonesty and predetermination.” /4
If this is indeed confirmed, then this is significant. The Guide to Judicial Conduct, and several case rulings on judicial misconduct, enforces a duty on judges to disclose any actual or apparent conflict or bias before they hear a case /5
This is necessary to ensure that justice is seen to be done.  He has also accused both judges of intellectual dishonesty and predetermination within their written ruling. /7
