/ The Iowa caucuses are just over a month away (February 3), and a whole host of outcomes seem possible. Ballots for the California primary (March 3) also become available that day.

I’ll be voting for @ewarren. Here’s why in a nutshell (A THREAD):
/ Warren has correctly diagnosed the problems we face as resulting from an insufficiently regulated, thoroughly corrupted, socially debilitating political economic system.
/ She has named the problem for what it is, and has a plan—or, more accurately, dozens and dozens of thoughtful, bold, integrated plans—to fix it.
/ Combating corruption. Strengthening democracy. Leveling the playing field. Implementing a Green New Deal. Eliminating student debt. Universalizing health care. Making child care affordable. Defending workers and the environment in global trade agreements. On & on & on it goes.
/ Just like the candidate herself, these plans aren’t perfect. However, they reflect vision and seriousness, empathy and ambition. Warren gets it, and she’s willing to fight for the big, structural change she understands is necessary.
/ I think this, more than anything else, is what we need to counter and build a broad, unified movement to defeat Trumpism.
/ I appreciate all that Bernie Sanders has done and continues to do for American politics. I count myself among the members of the movement he’s done so much to encourage.
/ But I believe down to my toes that Warren is the best candidate in this race. She’s got the right mix of knowledge and experience to lead our country at this moment—and it’s about damn time we elect a woman president.
/ I hope you’ll join me, and am happy to discuss with anyone who’s still considering for whom to vote!

/ Thanks, @snicholsblog. I believe @ewarren will do the same! Her message against corruption & for big, structural change is compelling—because it’s right. She campaigns with enthusiasm & conviction, engaging openly & genuinely, & consistently & convincingly making the case.
/ As @tiffburnette and others have pointed out, @ewarren is working her butt off to listen to, connect with, incorporate the views of, and bring out constituencies key to a winning Democratic coalition.
/ Ultimately, selecting the best candidate is the surest way of defeating Trump. I believe that @ewarren is that candidate. Her arguments, like Bernie’s, will resonate across the Rust Belt, and also with suburban Sun Belt voters key to pushing Southern states into the D column.
/ Over the course of a lifetime of work, she’s developed a thorough understanding of our political economic system, and has come to realize the depth and breadth of change needed to make this a country that works for everyone—to dismantle oligarchy and build towards equality.
/ @ewarren knows academically, practically, and personally how law and policy shape our society, our opportunities, our lives.
/ @ewarren understands better than anyone how to use law and policy to bring about the change we need. She’s not only building a movement to win—she’s fleshing out a thorough and comprehensive campaign of reforms to move us forward starting on Day One!
/ I have much love for Bernie, but I believe @ewarren is the strongest candidate, and will be the best president.
/ And I hope that #NotMeUs movement supporters will work to defeat Trump and bring about big, structural change in 2020—even if it’s Warren, not Sanders, at the top of the ticket.

/ Seeing huge huge #Warren2020 enthusiasm in folks responding, and in those working to encourage contributions before the end of the year at elizabethwarren.com. Unbelievably proud and more stoked than ever to be @TeamWarren #LFG
