In the interest of ending this...whatever it is...with @charlescwcooke, I will ask a direct and non-judgmental question.
1. We know that the risks of carrying guns are small, but they exist and are finite.
2. We know the risk of being shot in a church is small, but finite.

@charlescwcooke If we took all the people who can carry and armed them in church every week, would the risks be higher than the risk of being killed in a random church shooting?
This could apply as well to, say, arming teachers, but leave it at churches, as this is what I wrote about in 2017. /2
@charlescwcooke Note that this is a separate issue from the fact that I *just don't happen to like people walking around with guns purely based on my own cultural background.*

@charlescwcooke I think taking a small risk and multiplying it by thousands and thousands of people to stop a risk that is even smaller is just foolish.

I also just happen to think people who feel the need to carry guns around all the time are kind of weird.
