Here's where coverage started, with a 3rd batch of Mueller 302s released through CNN & Buzzfeed's FOIA suit: cnn.com/2020/01/02/pol…
And there's still a lot that DOJ refuses to share. Redactions, exemptions, etc.
We still haven't seen ANY McGahn 302s.
To paraphrase a comment from Judge Rogers during the oral argument about GJ redactions: One sentence could reveal a lot.
cnn.com/2020/01/03/pol…
1003 memos in total.
644 names redacted. cnn.com/2020/01/03/pol…
Yet at least 30 interviews documented on our Russia Tracker (via @MarshallCohen) don't appear on the DOJ's list. Are these some of the redactions?
cnn.com/interactive/20…
Such as: Mueller's busiest month interviewing witnesses was May 2018.
Some number crunching from the data released Friday:
Nov '17 happened to be start of Manafort & Gates in open court, and Flynn plea deal.
Feb '18 was Gates' plea, and indictment of the troll farm
We're not the only ones fighting for access to more about the Mueller investigation.
@washingtonpost lawsuit produced this response today, saying that DOJ is getting ready to share more about Manafort's cooperation going bust
cnn.com/2020/01/05/pol…
One thing Manafort lied about was discussions about Ukraine with his Russian associate in 2017 and 2018.
On this, Mueller reminded us that he never got to the bottom of what Manafort was up to.
Mueller report pg 130:
