Two important points to make while you’re processing the news of the UIA 737 crash

• Only Iran’s state media has stated the accident has occurred “due to tech problems” — without any investigation

• The video being widely shared (showing fireball) remains unverified

Latest: Boeing statement — “We are aware of the media reports out of #Iran and we are gathering more information”
It’s at this point that Boeing and NTSB would soon be en route to crash site in order to launch an investigation (given the involvement of American manufactured airline jet such as this Boeing 737)

But with US vs Iran, and the events of the past week — this is v unlikely #PS752

It’s only airlines from Gulf/Middle East + few Russian ⤵️
Latest: Ukraine says multiple possible theories are being discussed with Iranian investigators: including the 737 “being hit by an anti-aircraft missile, a collision, technical failure or a terrorist act” #PS752
