So this terrorist Suleimani who was killing our troops. When and where was he doing it? According to this link, British service personnel killed in the last 4 years amounted to:

2016 0
2017 2
2018 1
2019 0

So that’s 3 fatalities in the last 4 years ..

.. That’s a small enough number to be able to figure out who they were & in which theatre they died. Of course, doing that doesn’t prove Suleimani had anything to do with it nor would his involvement in such killings necessarily make him a terrorist.

Trying to find out who those 3 fatalities were I found this Guardian article concerning injuries to two British special forces personnel. They were injured by ISIS while illegally & secretly operating (much like terrorists) in Syria. Suleimani ..

.. is the guy (we are told) who defeated ISIS. So in the recent past, it seems he was a good guy. Then he somehow became a bad guy. Believe this crap if you want.

Well, here is the unfortunate chap who died in 2018. He was killed by friendly fire while operating illegally in Syria. Interestingly, it was first claimed he was killed by an IED, something Suleimani is supposedly associated with. But this was not true.

According to the government there were no deaths due to hostile action in 2017. So that needs to be squared with my first link.

See the attached paragraph I extracted from it. 2 deaths since 2014. The 2018 one is probably the special ..

.. forces soldier killed by friendly fire in Syria & the other one died in 2015 from wounds sustained in Afghanistan in 2012. We already know 2019 was a blank.

I did not watch PMQs today so all I have seen is Johnson’s claim that Suleimani has the blood of British ..

.. soldiers on his hands. Well, if he was a terrorist, he wasn’t a very successful one since, according to the government’s own figures, he has managed to kill no one in the last 8 years.

And that leaves out of account whether our presence in Syria is legal (it isn’t) & what ..

.. we are doing there (nobody knows because the MoD does not comment on the activities of special forces).

So we are back with the same dodgy dossier of bullshit that the UK peddled in order to sustain its wafer thin self defence case as an excuse for invading Iraq. Where ..

.. we desperately need a fearless & inquisitive national broadcaster we have instead a news organisation which considers the tribulations of lesser members of the royal family more important than war while the rest of the media seems to think barking at
