The missile volley Iran sent to the base in Iraq was nowhere near Tehran & the missiles were launched in the OPPOSITE direction of Tehran. Hours before the crash. You need to understand how preposterous this claim is. #IranPlaneCrash
See, the missiles were launched from near the border between Iran & Iraq & were targeted around where that arrow points. They were never anywhere near Tehran (circled) or even traveling in that direction. #IranPlaneCrash
Tehran is around 250 miles away from where the missiles were launched, in the other direction. Tehran is at least 500 miles away from the base that was the target of the missiles. #IranPlaneCrash
The US absolutely knows that no missile fired by Iran went anywhere near the airport in Tehran => wired.com/story/us-missi… #IranPlaneCrash
I dont have the exact times but I understand the plane crash happened at least several hours after the missiles hit the base in Iraq. Ive heard 6 hours but I dont know if that's true, it seemed like it was around 3, but I dont know how soon I got the news of either of these >
events after they happened. It certainly wasn't simultaneous but I'll have to look up the exact times.
This shouldnt need to be said but there is no fucking reason at all Iran would shoot down a civilian airliner departing from it's very own commercial airport & full of its ppl & their families. They wouldnt want to, number one. Number two, they're having enough problems with>
sanctions they're not going to do anything that would do even more to keep ppl away. Obviously they need as much travel in & out of Iran to continue. Number three, theres no "false flag" potential here for them because the enormous power differential has the US in control of >
messaging & all the relevant international bodies (UN), & the US is just a bunch of racist shitheads who would definitely try to blame Iran anyway (as they're doing), so no one in Iran's position is going to try a "false flag" it doesnt work in the other direction that shit only>
works for the US & its allies. The US literally did shoot down an Iranian passenger jet, with many more ppl on it & you know what happened? Absolutely squat. Bupkiss. So that effectively rules out Iran shooting down a passenger jet in Iran & trying to blame the US because >
everybody already knows that would get them absolutely NOTHING. Nothing. #IranPlaneCrash
The longer they keep this shit up the more for me the needle moves toward "the US did it"
Nobody should need to see reasons why the US, nor any "sources" bearing claims that serve the US, shouldn't be believed, but let's just reiterate that particularly in matters such as this =>
If you want to speculate on scenarios without any direct evidence, at least make them plausible to begin with, like this =>
MEK firing a stinger missile at a civilian airliner in Iran is something in the realm of possibilities because it would suit their goals. And I could see the US covering for them after the fact even if they had no forward knowledge.
If this is what they're claiming, I'm thinking that shoulder-fired missile scenario is looking even better
There isnt a chance in Hell that Iran's own anti-aircraft systems targeted & shot down a civilian airliner as it was departing Tehran. Zero.
While I'm keeping track of things that make the US appear guilty I should point out that they looked like they were setting this up about 6 months ago=>
The FAA issued a warning regarding Tehran the same day as the crash, I dont have the exact time they issued that warning but I'm curious where that was in relation to other events.
