Honestly don't know what is going through these people's heads.

There is a pretty bright line between viewing Trump as a bad President and being willing to deflect responsibility from an evil regime who murders civilians because you want to blame Trump. Far too many people are crossing that line right now.

Think about how pathetic and deranged you have to be to respond to the POTUS issuing a statement of support for the Iranian people risking their lives standing up to their oppressive regime with a tweet about impeachment in Farsi.

Seriously, seek professional help.
And this is someone Pelosi is relying on for political strategy.

Here is some strategic advice: Take a pause on your obsessive partisanship to stand with the people risking their lives in Iran, as all Americans should.
Trump opponents have had the worst 2 weeks of his Presidency. They should have given him credit, then he would have done/said something dumb in a week & focus would shift. Instead they desperately tried to spin him doing the right thing into something bad.

So have any of the leading Dem candidates said anything in support of the Iranian protestors currently risking their lives by challenging the regime?

I haven't been able to find anything yet.
Ignoring protestors who are risking their lives to protest the regime and proclaim the US is not their enemy is not a great way to counter perception that several of those candidates have been actively siding with the regime during this saga.
Bernie and Warren’s main comments thus far have been about wrongly accusing us of illegally assassinating Soleimani and starting a war. Pete B. Tried to both sides Iran shooting down the plane. Tulsi blamed us. Biden has been more restrained. But silence here seems indefensible.

#Iran can't get away by scapegoating a low-ranking official, downing an enemy plane is never a tactical decision. An officer of the level of major general or brigadier would have approved and directed. Allowing field commanders to act on their own proves lack of professionalism.

I've seen the claim several places, but does anyone have video or a reliable news source confirming Trump adviser Sean Hannity said on-air, online, or on radio that Iran was about to be hit by B52s shortly before an Iranian battery allegedly mistook an airliner for a US warplane?
(I ask because no country, having been told by the leader of a geopolitical foe that it could be bombed at any time, would fail to monitor the communications of a top adviser to that leader who happened to be *on-air* at the time of a potential airstrike. So this *does* matter.)
(Again, I'm asking for sourcing. I'd actually be much happier to learn that this didn't occur. Seriously, I don't want this to have occurred. But there were a number of people on social media saying Hannity had said this *at the time his show was on*. So any help is appreciated.)

The missile volley Iran sent to the base in Iraq was nowhere near Tehran & the missiles were launched in the OPPOSITE direction of Tehran. Hours before the crash. You need to understand how preposterous this claim is. #IranPlaneCrash
See, the missiles were launched from near the border between Iran & Iraq & were targeted around where that arrow points. They were never anywhere near Tehran (circled) or even traveling in that direction. #IranPlaneCrash
Tehran is around 250 miles away from where the missiles were launched, in the other direction. Tehran is at least 500 miles away from the base that was the target of the missiles. #IranPlaneCrash
