What strikes me about this piece is that there is a direct connection between these ongoing vulnerabilities and the President and his administration's refusal to acknowledge Russian interference or indeed Russia as an adversary. We are vulnerable, but that may be what he wants.
We needed an urgent bipartisan commission or a select committee after 2016; instead we got Mueller and the House and Senate probes that plodded along.
