#SupremeCourt hearing matter Chowgule & Company Private Limited V Goa Foundation wherein petitioner challenged the BombayHC Order which had set aside the State of Goa decision to permit transportation of the royalty paid ore.
Today- Senior Counsel Mukul Rohatgi says by virtue of the judgment of this Court there has been no mining. However there are lot of mining material is lying at the mines.
Sr Adv Rohatgi prays that Material which have been mined till 15th March 2018 for which royalty has been paid may be allowed transportation.

The State had allowed me in lieu of the SC order to transport the material however the order was quashed by the HC. I am not a superman that I’ll mine till midnight of 15th March and then transport the material within seconds says Mr. Rohatgi.
Advocate Prashant Bhushan says that the mining was illegal since 2007 and the mining material ought to be confiscated by the state under MMRD Act.
7 million tons of mined material were already lying on the date of order and now instead of transporting the mined material they kept mining and now they want to transport the material says Mr. Bhushan.
